The Master in DESIGN FOR FOOD is the new Specializing Master born from the collaboration between Politecnico di Milano and the University of Gastronomic Sciences of Pollenzo which holds a years-long experience in food training. It is managed by POLI.design, the Consortium Company of Politecnico di Milano specialized in post-graduate training that offers University Masters and Advanced Training Courses. The Master in DESIGN FOR FOOD recognizes how the contemporary food sector, that is already characterized by experimentation and innovation and design-oriented experiences, is increasingly looking for a transversal expertise, capable of strategically integrating design, food engineering, technological, gastronomical skills. For this reason the Master in DESIGN FOR FOOD combines the design and food engineering competences, characteristic of the Politecnico di Milano, with topics and focuses in the area of food connected with humanities, gastronomic sciences and food technologies, that are typical domains of the University of Gastronomic Sciences of Pollenzo.
