I am a SCM & logistics professional with 34+ years of experience working with various Automotive, OE, Wind Energy & Electro-Mechanical multinationals in different areas like Vendor development, Planning, Scheduling, Inventory Management, SIOP, Product costing, Green field projects, Program management and Export Business development. After completion of Diploma in Mechanical Engineering , being passionate learner, I completed Diploma in Business Management, Masters in Management Science , P.G. Diploma in International Trade from Symbiosis Institute and Ex. P.G. (International trade) from I.I.F.T, DelhiAfter working with Fujitsu - ICIM Limited & Mercedes Benz , at L&T - John Deere(as founder member) in phase 1, my team completed 100 % indignisation of 5000 series tractor 5310 & then got an excellent opportunity to lead tractor export program for various destinations Like Madagascar, South & North America, Turkey and received "Employee Recognition" & "Team Excellence" Award from Directors L&T which was achieved only with excellent relationship management & team work.Then, I was a part of Foreign Trade department of Suzlon Energy Limited in capacity of A.G.M. ( Foreign Trade & logistics QA) where I was responsible for Pre & Post shipment documentation,licenses & its compliance, Import & export freight cost negotiations, Contracts for ODC, Container & RoRo shipments . Further , my dream came true when I started handling total off shore port operations at NMPT, Mangalore I use to ship 4/ 6 vessels in a month to Australia, United States, Brazil In addition to establishment of complete breadth of materials function at Green field project , L&T - John Deere, Vehicle BU, I also established materials function at TATA - Cummins Limited, Phaltan in capacity of D.G.M., Material along with complete plant (Capex) import in optimal time & Cost with "0 %" insurance claim and also successfully completed TATA , Cummins USA audits for new plant setup
