Arthur Crocker

Arthur Crocker is a COO & CFO with extensive international experience in M&A and IPO activity.After qualifying as ACA in 1988, Arthur spent 9 years at PwC in audit and interim finance roles and a further 5 years in PwC’s Global Capital Markets Group, where he participated in a large number of successful cross-border IPOs and Listings.In 2001 he was headhunted into Shields Environmental Group as CFO to help the founder to grow the business and deliver an exit for him. As part of the founder’s exit route, Fonebak was de-merged from Shields and IPO'd on AiM and Arthur was appointed Fonebak's CFO. He played a central role in the substantial increase in revenues of Fonebak coupled with a turnaround from losses to profit. He left Fonebak in June 2007 to concentrate on a number of new business start ups. In early 2010, he took a consultancy role with one of those - Byyd Tech (formerly Adfonic) (a mobile advertising company) - which rapidly moved to a full time role, and Arthur became first CFO, and then COO & CFO of Byyd Tech.Arthur left Byyd Tech in 2016 and joined Active Ticketing, a technology company specialising in secure ticketing on mobile devices, as CFO at the beginning of 2017. In May 2018, Arthur joined Shields Energy Services, a company specialising in IoT retro-fit solutions to digitise and control buildings and estates.Specialties: M&A, IPO (including cross border IPO), international experience, high growth/high change businesses in the TMT sector.
