Dr. BP Agrawal founded Sustainable Innovation, a tax-exempt organization, to harvests innovations for people. Currently, SI is is building social enterprises or public-private-community partnerships to provide safe drinking water and to deliver health care to vulnerable populations. He is the recipient of 2012 $100,000 Purpose Prize award for social innovations; the 2010 $100,000 Lemelson-MIT award for sustainability: 2010 Energy Globe World Award for environmental sustainability; and World Bank's Development Marketplace awards (twice) for rainwater harvesting and triage@Home social enterprises.
