The Green Party of Ontario is a political party in Ontario, Canada. The party is led by Mike Schreiner, the party's first member of the Ontario Legislative Assembly, elected in 2018. The GPO policies are aligned with other green parties in Canada and around the world: being fiscally responsible, socially progressive and environmentally focused. In 2019, the party passed their first Green legislation, a co-sponsored bill that makes it illegal to block an EV charging station with a gasoline-powered vehicle.
