My first steps in the world of technology were aligned with the introduction and evolution of Internet in Spain. From the late 90s with Infovia ISPs (the Spanish dial-in network) to the period of content portals (such as Ya.com or Terra) in the first years of the 21st century, I was involved with every new phase of this process. In my career I have moved from Network and IT Security Architecture projects to complex global System Architecture definitions, such as the one related with Vueling and Clickair merger. The last seven years I have been leading projects related with digital commerce (web and mobile), revenue, on-line marketing, product definition, loyalty, social media and customer care as a Head of Product Owners. Recently, I have been managing the group of Commercial Product Owners and leading the cultural change needed to transition from waterfall processes to agile principles. This change has enable our projects to be developed with improved time to market and increased flexibility to accept and incorporate changes arising from quick technical evolution or customer needs. My last period in Vueling I was leading the Software Development department and I'm also in charge of the IT Technical Product area at Vueling Airlines. Currently, my role in new company I'm working on is Chief Digital and Technical Innovation Officer (CDIO). I’m a technology enthusiast with a customer centric attitude, goal-oriented leadership style and focus on driving business agility and cost efficiency through technology initiatives.
