A 25-year veteran of the video game industry, I am a proven leader with experience across all corners of development, I have a keen understanding of success metrics, and a passion for bringing compelling mobile experiences to life. As VP and Head of Studio at Playdemic, I'm responsible for all aspects of Playdemic’s business including operations, production, studio management and partnering with EA’s mobile division to drive the team’s strategy and vision. Prior to this, I spent a decade leading operations for Playdemic including delivering the Top 10 grossing and BAFTA-winning mobile game Golf Clash – ensuring the successful delivery of features while maintaining the quality of robust live operations.I started my video games career at Rare in the mid-90s in the QA department, before being promoted to a Designer and eventually Lead Designer. After leaving Rare in 2003, I joined Warthog games as a Senior Designer. In 2005, I co-founded Team 3 Games, an independent studio based in Cheshire, working on handheld games. In 2010, Team 3 Games was acquired by Ideas Pad Ltd, a leading developer and publisher of puzzle games for handheld consoles. In 2012, Ideas Pad was acquired by Manchester based games company Playdemic, one of Europe’s leading mobile specialists. Playdemic went on to be acquired by Warner Bros in 2016 and finally by Electronic Arts in 2021. I started my working life as an apprentice engineer and gained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechatronics, Robotics and Automation Engineering from De Montfort University.
