Glenn King is the COO of The NASTAR Center and Director of Advanced Pilot Training (APT). He is also the Director of the AeroMedical Training Institute (AMTI) at the National AeroSpace Training and Research (NASTAR) Center, a division of Environmental Tectonics Corporation (ETC).APT training courses includes Upset Prevention & Recovery Training (UPRT) utilizing a G producing flight simulator, Altitude Awareness (Hypoxia & RD ) training in an FAA approved Altitude Chamber, and Spatial Disorientation training in a multi-axis G producing simulator. APT training programs includes civil aviation related safety courses such as CRM, Night Vision and Water Survival Training. AMTI training courses include High G tolerance & improvement training, Ejection Seat training, Night Vision & Night Vision Goggle Training, Altitude training, and other AeroMedical Physiology courses for military and civilian clients.Mr. King has been at ETC/NASTAR for 28 years and has held positions as Director of Physiology Training, Aerospace Physiology Instructor, Sub-Orbital Space Flight Instructor, Courseware Developer, Man Rating Director and High Performance Centrifuge Test Pilot. He has commissioned into service 9 high performance centrifuges and has flown over 18 centrifuges worldwide. He is a test pilot and IRB Representative and Subject Matter Expert for new flight profiles and programs at the NASTAR Center. Mr. King is an FAA-rated pilot, with over 3,800 hours flying experience with 250 hours in fast jets. Mr. King is a member of the NASTAR Center’s Institutional Review Board (IRB) as Test Subject Expert.Mr. King holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education from Glassboro State College (now Rowan University), New Jersey. He maintains professional memberships with the Aerospace Medical Association, American Society of Quality Control, Experimental Aircraft Association and the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA).
