Ian Sandison

Ian Sandison is a senior executive, with many years experience and successful track record in Business management and leadership. In October 2017 he was included in a list of Cambridge's top 25 most influential business people. In 2018 he was shortlisted in the Association of Town Centre Managers awards in the Inspirational Leader Category.He has two main activities,1- CEO of Cambridge Business Improvement District which manages the City Centre Economy in Cambridge.2-The commercialisation of medical device products, services and businesses in UK and international markets. 1- For 15 years Ian has had a Cambridge City connection being actively involved in the business environment and working with all key stakeholders to ensure the City remains vibrant and a a good place to do business. 2- He has an excellent understanding of the technology product development process and experience of bringing many new products to market. A strong business leader with a host of experience in developing KOL groups, writing launch plans, forecasting, agreeing budgets and ensuring costs are managed closely.Ian's experience covers all aspects of running a business with expertise in leadership, motivation, professional development, Strategic planning, marketing, sales strategy & distribution management.His consulting expertise extends to include technology development, partnering, market entry strategies business development raising finance & leadership team developmentHe has contributed to the University of Cambridge Judge Business School Ignite Entrepreneurship Programme and is a Project Mentor for the University of Cambridge Judge Business School MBA Programme. He used to Lecture in Strategic Marketing Management at the Lord Ashcroft International Business School in Cambridge. He is a former Judge in the Cambridge News Annual Business Excellence Awards.
