Larry Shikles

As a lifelong athlete with a passion for competition, I like nothing better than to build winning portfolios for clients. As an experienced portfolio manager who creates customized investment management strategies, my goal is to help build portfolios that reflect each client’s ambitions, lifestyle expectations, cash flow needs and desires for their family. My specialties – and primary focus at the firm – are equity research, portfolio investment analysis and strategic counseling for clients.I joined Morgan Stanley in 1994 as a Financial Advisor following a nine-year career in professional baseball. As a right-handed pitcher, I worked my way up through the Boston Red Sox farm system and spent four years with the AAA Pawtucket Red Sox.I was a Sun Belt All Conference Athlete while attending Western Kentucky University, and earned a degree in business. I now live with my wife Jeannine, son Zachary, and daughter Alyssa in Ballwin. I am a sports enthusiast and enjoy golfing and coaching my children’s sports teams. I serve in several volunteer organizations including Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Ministries at Work, and Crown Financial Ministries.
