Lev Zelenin

Software developer interested broadly in computer science, mathematics, economics, and making the world a better place. My passion in life is STEM; I work hard to understand the world through science and math, and to develop personal agency within it through engineering. My focus has been the development of massive, distributed, multi-user and tenant database systems. I've developed infrastructure, ETL, data architecture, and various user facing functionality (stored procedures, data enrichment, data analysis for ad-hoc business requests, monitoring tools, etc). I’ve also worked on several POC’s for my company, evaluating the performance of various software for potential use. Outside development, I run a dev team; I am keenly aware that the challenges of delivering software are problems in planning, organization, and communication as much as they are problems in engineering. I’ve worked directly with clients throughout the software life-cycle, and have experience taking an idea from business need to spec to market.
