Studenten krijgen de beste praktijkopleiding met uitzicht op een baan en bedrijven beschikken nu en in de toekomst over de vakmensen die ze nodig hebben. Dat zijn de doelen van de Samenwerkingsorganisatie Beroepsonderwijs Bedrijfsleven (SBB). Voor het middelbaar beroepsonderwijs en het bedrijfsleven verrichten we de volgende wettelijke taken: we erkennen en begeleiden leerbedrijven, we onderhouden de mbo-kwalificatiestructuur en we verzorgen informatie over de arbeidsmarkt, beroepspraktijkvorming (stages en leerbanen) en de doelmatigheid van het opleidingsaanbod. Verder adviseren we de minister van OCW over de aansluiting van het beroepsonderwijs op de arbeidsmarkt.
