Opportunity@Work is a social enterprise startup focused on re-wiring the labor market so the 71M workers in America who are STARs* (Skilled Through Alternative Routes, instead of a four-year degree) find pathways to the tech-enabled middle and high wage jobs of the 21st century. Before O@W, I had 20 years of experience leading teams in designing & launching new products, programs and strategies across the private, public & not-for-profit sectors. At Peer Insight (peerinsight.com), I served as CEO (previously COO) and grew our services, and led partnerships that contributed to dozens of new business ventures with clients like Nike, Kimberly-Clark, AARP, Canon, the Good Samaritan Society and ArcBest, several of which have become multi-million dollar revenue streams.With a background in strategy and technology, before Peer Insight, I led strategy, growth, tech & turnaround projects for IBM and PricewaterhouseCoopers in several countries across federal & private sectors. This includes Allstate, the World Bank, the State Dept, and the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID)/Afghanistan program.The diversity and connectivity of my experience is brought to bear throughout the business building processes. I enable strong exploratory and divergent thinking while maintaining a grasp on the ins and outs of execution, team alignment and story-telling.
