I offer more than 20 years of professional experience mainly obtained at the Library of Alexandria which provided me with a vast and diverse knowledge of cultural management through handling, planning and organizing programs, activities and events; building networks and developing funding sources; negotiating, administering contracts and monitoring performance; overseeing Public relations at large, media & communications. Throughout my career, I have successfully managed projects, risks, costs and project teams as well as competently handled a variety of tasks and audiences. I have been exposed to numerous national and international events, activities, programs, and projects dealing with social change and development; education; human rights; intercultural dialogue; amongst other humanitarian issues. I am an Executive MBA holder, obtained from the Alexandria University, Faculty of Commerce in 2020. I obtained my Bachelor’s degree of Arts and Humanities from the Alexandria University, Faculty of Arts, English Department, Literature Section in 2000, where I studied literature, civilizations, and Humanities at large. In 2007, I was selected to be the International Human Rights Fellow at the Protection Project of the Johns Hopkins University, School of Advanced International Studies, Washington DC, the United States of America. The fellowship offered me a comprehensive experience of handling and implementing projects, research, and many more activities and programs. I have also taken several courses at The American University, Washington College of Law, as well as The Johns Hopkins University, School of Advanced International Studies, Washington DC, The United States of America. I am currently the Director of of the Women Studies and Social Transformation Program (WSST) at the Library of Alexandria. My work mainly focuses on designing, implementing, and monitoring programs and activities, developing resources and establishing partnerships especially in the field of women and gender issues thus fulfilling the objective of WSST to being an active promoter for change on the local, regional and international levels. I am always enthusiastically looking forward to finding new opportunities, expanding my knowledge, sharing my expertise, pursuing new adventures and finding new inspirations. I believe that it will enable me to better develop myself on both professional and personal levels, and will be a chance for me to apply my acquired skills and expertise to help make a difference.
