Nnenna Umelloh

Black women only make up 3% of faculty in academia.Nnenna Umelloh is one of them. Dubbed "Professor Oakland" Nnenna teaches throughout the San Francisco Bay Area at California State University - East Bay, Laney College, and San Jose City College. Hyperaware of the lack of diversity in academia, Professor Umelloh incorporates culture and context in every lesson. Outside the classroom, Nnenna Umelloh is a Data Scientist, seasoned strategist, and entrepreneur. She is Principal at Nnenna Umelloh Inc., an agency that specializes in business strategy and career development for Founders, business owners, and high-performing professionals. When she isn't working, she's probably reading a good book.She earned her BBA in Marketing and a BA in Liberal Studies from the University of Houston. She also has a Master of Science in International Business and a Master of Science in Business Analytics from the Hult International School of Business.
