The Company Compass Asset Management was established in 1998 by a team of professionals with many years of experience in international financial markets. We are completely independent and motivated by a long-term entrepreneurial spirit focusing on our customers'​ satisfaction. Our company started managing the assets of private clients through discretionary management mandates, mostly investment funds, evolving thereafter into an advisory and managed investment funds business. Our success relies on the understanding each customer's attitude to risk, sharing long-term investment goals, transparency, reliability and on delivery of competitive long-term performance. Our Portfolio Management generally aims to target absolute returns. Taking into account the time horizon of the investment, our commitment is to generate positive and sustainable yields mitigating the volatility of the financial markets. In 2003 Compass became Investment Advisor of CompAM Fund Sicav, an investment fund domiciled in Luxembourg, while continuing to act as Investment Advisor for the off-shore fund Compass Eagle. In February 2007 the Swiss Federal Banking Commission (FINMA) granted to Compass Asset Management the first authorization as investment manager of foreign funds according to the newly released collective capital investment law (Licol). This important step permitted Compass to become Investment Manager both of Comp AM Fund Sicav and Compass Eagle Trend.
