As a lawyer and CEO at the Ross Firm Professional Corporation, I have been afforded the opportunity of participating not only in the practice of law, but the business of law as well. This experience has allowed me a more informed insight when dealing with our business clients. With respect to my Corporate/Commercial practice, I represent businesses ranging from small to larger multi-million dollar, multi-jurisdictional entities in specialized industries. I handle all aspects of business law from start-up to sale. My real estate practice consists of both residential and commercial transactions and development. The practice deals with issues of severance, subdivision development and a surprisingly large expropriation component. My solicitor's practice takes a concierge approach. A business transaction or real property transfer often has implications beyond the instant transaction. Estate planning and administration is also undertaken to ensure the benefits of the transaction don't end the day the deal closes. On the organizational side, I work with our amazing team to identify and adopt technological, operational and human resource opportunities often not seen in the legal industry. We are undoubtedly building law 2.0 and are often consulted but other firms seeking to evolve. We’ve built an environment of abundance and compassion, where the success of the ecosystem is directly as a result of the professional and personal success and happiness of those in it.
