I believe that marketing only matters when it drives growth. As CMO of Carnegie Learning I'm focused on using Artificial Intelligence and other innovation to transform K-12 education and drive exponential growth for our business.I've spent the majority of my career in tech marketing with a particular focus on AI and other industry-defining technologies: supercomputing, 5G, cloud, edge, foldable, etc. My experience spans hardware, software, and services and I've worked extensively in both traditional and SaaS models. I've marketed tech to businesses, consumers, and to/through channel partners and developers. And I've done this in startups and massive publicly traded companies, both globally and in the US.I also know a bit about marketing cars, phone service, mayonnaise, and firming cream, but not as much as tech.Prior to Carnegie, there were 3 key periods in my career that shaped me as a marketer: From 2013 to 2022 I was VP, Global Marketing at Lenovo, the $70B parent company of ThinkPad, Motorola, YOGA, Legion and a range of other brands. At Lenovo I was responsible for driving growth across 180 countries while transforming the brand from a device leader to a global solutions and AI leader. This role required tackling the rigors of global marketing while navigating the complex geo-political tensions that impact a brand with a deep heritage in China and a balanced business footprint globally. And doing it all at lightning speed, driven by the relentless pace of the technology sector. From 2011 to 2013 I had the thrilling and terrifying experience of co-founding a company, starting Craft Worldwide (craftww.com), a global design and production agency that sits within the McCann Worldgroup network. Today, Craft is a thriving business with 1,000+ employees in 120 markets. From 2000 to 2011 I had the privilege of working at Ogilvy & Mather, helping to lead the IBM account globally. At the time this was the single largest agency-client relationship on the planet. My time with IBM and Ogilvy was a continuous learning experience in global tech branding and marketing, culminating in the roll-out of a massive IBM brand transformation that impacted 400,000+ employees and millions of customers.Through all of this I've won top awards at Cannes and the Effies: the twin peaks of creativity and effectiveness. I've been recognized twice as a Top 50 US Marketer, I've been embarrassingly named a Marketing Superstar by CMO.com. And I regularly have the privilege of speaking on branding, marketing strategy, and global marketing at Duke and UNC.

Truentity Health is on a mission to dramatically reduce the preventable medication errors that impact millions of lives each day and drive up costs for healthcare providers. Our complete medication reconciliation (medrec) solution combines cutting-edge technology with human expertise to deliver on this promise. Before and after a patient’s clinic or hospital visit, a board-certified pharmacist performs a comprehensive medrec process to compile a complete and up-to-date record of their prescription medications, over-the-counter (OTC) drugs, supplements, drug allergies, and past adverse reactions, and identify discrepancies before they can lead to preventable errors. This record is securely stored by the Truentity Health platform, giving the provider a holistic view of the patient’s medication history. Patients can access their records and share them with their care team. As a result, patients achieve more positive health outcomes, and providers improve efficiency and reduce costs while increasing their STAR ratings and HCAHPS scores and generating revenue via CMS reimbursements.
