Almost 20 years of creating communication and public relations strategies that connect brands to consumers in the LGBTQ community, communities of color and female driven initiatives. Macias founded the D & I practice at MWWPR in 2014. During his time at MWWPR he built an award winning Diversity and Inclusion Practice covers 3 major areas of work and clients. The first area of work covers Consumer lifestyle with clients like Hilton Worldwide, Doritos and Barefoot Wine. The second area of PR and marketing work includes diverse film and television projects from Amazon, FX, Focus Features, Annapurna, Netflix as well as working with the project's A-List talent in front of and behind the camera. And lastly, Macias works with a number of non-profits like the San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus and LA Pride as well as important tourism boards like LA Tourism, Santa Barbara Tourism and the Israeli Ministry of Tourism.Applying a 360 approach to our strategies include digital and social tactics, traditional and earned media, crisis communications and integrated marketing solutions. There is not another practice in the United States with as diverse a roster of clients and as many successful campaigns over the years. With an increasingly divided consumer base across the U.S., Macias has now at taken his work to one of the world's leading agencies, Rogers and Cowan/PMK to continue navigating successful campaigns for global clients with innovative approaches to reaching diverse communities.
