At heart, what I do best (and love to do) is build businesses at the intersection of technology and finance.With diverse firms (startups and larger) in the fintech/software/investments/wealth management space, I’ve spent my career in the heart of the action: defining strategy, developing products and services, building systems that power the business, and transforming the vision for the business into action plans that get results.Of course, deep technical and financial expertise is needed to transform visions to reality. What I’ve found to be just as important is the ability to communicate—with investors and boards, executive teams, technical teams, regulators—the complex financial and technical concepts that underlie the business and the strategy.What excites me most is a new challenge, a new opportunity to learn, grow, and achieve. I love to jump in, take on something big and meaningful, and get involved in every aspect of the challenge. I somehow keep all the wheels turning, all the initiatives moving forward, as my team and I work together to achieve something big.And on the other side — I’m co-parent to 3 amazing little boys … fascinated by ancient and revolutionary war history … planning my next classic car restoration … a pilot in perpetual progress.
