He has managed $1bln+ global long-short market neutral equity portfolios. As the Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Mobius Capital Management, Utpal managed portfolios in the energy, renewables, cleantech, and basic materials sectors.In his quest to innovate, Utpal is on a mission to democratize access to alternative investment strategies. As the founder of 99rises, Utpal has embarked on a journey to democratize the investing experience for advisors and customers alike. 99rises is an SEC-registered virtual fund platform that provides low-cost, low-min, tech-enabled access to purpose-driven alternative investment strategies (“blocks” or “virtual funds”). Through the 99rises enterprise portal, our Blocks-as-a-Service (“BaaS”) offering is a filing-free multiblock service that offers risk-managed portfolio creation and streamlined fractional block delivery providing our partners with a frictionless investment advisory experience.
