Xabier has a degree in Information Science from the Complutense University in Madrid and a Master in Marketing from Escuela Superior de Estudios de Marketing (ESSEM), developing his career in the main communication groups during more than 20 years. After working at the EUROCOM group, he joined VODAFONE SPAIN as Marketing Services Director, which allowed him to deepen his knowledge of this sector and specialize in Telco’s. After being Client Services Director at Y&R he was named CEO of Publicis Dialog Spain and was responsible for its digital transformation and has led the digital offices of Publicis WW, Wysiwyg and Nurun, in Spain. In 2016 he was appointed CEO of Publicis WW to two years later be appointed Country CEO of all the creative units of Publicis Groupe España; Publicis WW, Leo Burnett, Satatchi&Saatchi, Wysiwyg, Nurun and Prodigious. After a year dedicated to researching and updating the digital environment, he joined MARCO as Managing Partner with the objective of leading the integration of communication and creative processes in one of the leading consulting firms in the European market. During his career, Xabier has worked with top national and international brands like Telefónica, Orange, LÓreal, Garnier, McDonalds, Camper, Mexican Tourism Board, Liberty Insurance, Colgate, Unilever, BMW, and Heineken.
