By the name of Forland Geophysical Services, the focus of Forland is For Land and shallow water, providing high-resolution imaging of subsurface reservoirs under complex near-surface conditions. Currently FGS is actively working in Permian Basin of West Texas, Middle East, Foothills of Western China and Tajikistan. Through services, FGS has developed proprietary technologies, including high-resolution near-surface tomography, robust joint turning-ray and reflection tomography, de-noising and Interbed-multiple removal methods using localized complex wavelet transform (CWT) and artificial intelligence (AI) approach, and 3D broadband seismic inversion for reservoir characterization.
