I am a self-motivated, team player offering over 22+ years of accounting experience and 19+ years of progressive leadership experience with public and private companies. Well experienced in auditing, accounting and analytical functions of many industries including not-for-profit (including charter schools), government, construction and banking. I has been overseeing back office functions (payroll, accounts payable, month-end functions, year-end closing, audits and financial reporting and compliance) for more than 20 years. Since 2012, I have worked specifically with Charter schools and have managed 9 different charter schools with budgets ranging between $3M-$23M in local, state and federal revenue including districts with 1-10 campuses. I have also been involved in the preparation and execution of various different bond financial projections for charter schools to purchase and/or construct buildings needed as well as the annual continued compliance with those financial instruments.
