My father grew up in a coastal town in Kenya and my mother on a small island off the coast of Tanzania. As a child of immigrants and a first generation lawyer, my commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion is not only a passion. It is a purpose.At Davis Wright Tremaine, I work alongside firm leaders to further create an organization and a culture where all talented individuals—including those from traditionally underrepresented communities in the legal profession—can have, and can see, a path to success.I believe, to my very core, that diverse, equitable, and inclusive organizations and teams perform better in every way.
