Since 1970 we have been serving the Salt Lake County community by providing and developing quality affordable housing opportunities for individuals and families while promoting self-sufficiency, empowerment and neighborhood revitalization. Last year we served over 4,000 households comprised of approximately 10,000 individuals.

In 2002 the University of Utah hosted the Olympic Village as well as Winter Olympic events, including the opening and closing ceremonies.

Volunteers of America Utah is a human services nonprofit organization with more than 150 paid staff who serve more than 10,000 people across the state each year through a dozen programs addressing homelessness, addiction and mental illness.
