Culture Arcade is an event series that celebrates the intersection of gaming, diversity and joy in BIPOC communities. Through a combination of the games we play, the conversations we have, and the entertainment we enjoy, Culture Arcade is creating a space for diverse gamers to build inclusive, authentic communities. ---------------------------------------- Culture Arcade will take place on August 27th - 28th in Long Beach California at Thunder Studios. Culture Arcade will amplify the voices and stories of the BIPOC community in the gaming space through a series of curated social impact/ diversity based panels, celebrity and competitive gaming tournaments, and live dance and musical performances. We have curated a top tier list of BIPOC influencers, activists, entertainers and gamers with over 20m combined followers across social media platforms. We will spotlight the unique experiences of BIPOC who are navigating the rise and evolution of Gaming culture, while celebrating their influence in gaming communities across the planet. Bridgit recently won the 2019 Disruptive Technology Culture Driver award from the EU's flagship Next Generation Internet program. Bridgit operates as an “always-available, wherever you are” browser overlay. In alignment with the annotation capability recently adopted as a standard by the W3C, Bridgit democratizes linking so that users can create bridges on any page that connect information on an idea by idea basis with semantic relationships (e.g., supporting, conflicting). Collectively, the bridges constitute an "Internet of Ideas” - a much higher signal-to-noise and more connected network than Today’s Internet of knowledge silos.
