I bring a strong foundation in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), new business development, and new product development. I am a trusted partner to visionary and scientific leaders who want to see their ideas become reality. I am a CFA Charterholder and CPA with a Master’s in Professional Accounting (MPAcc) and remain at the forefront of emerging technologies and industry trends. I am an incoming member of the 2023-2024 cohort for the drug development and product management masters program at UCSD. I also bring considerable hands-on experience from various leadership capacities, including (but not limited to) Senior Manager, Innovation Partnerships, Cardea Bio, and most recently, VP, Operations and Business Development, CRISPR QC. As Vice President, I was responsible for organizational planning, talent development, financial management, and commercialization of a novel analytics platform. I helped lead the startup’s venture capital activity, provided financial diligence, and led technical and business discussions with VC firms, life science, and Ag-tech companies. Additional achievements include providing key inputs for negotiations for business partnering at Cardea Bio and securing a lucrative deal with Siemens.Inherently driven, I have developed robust connections across the life science industry, including with universities, research institutions, early-stage companies, and venture capital. What is most important to me professionally is getting to work with a driven and empathetic team. When I’m not busy working, I enjoy mountain biking, disc golf, and serving as an Advisory Board Member with the San Diego Biotechnology Center.
