Steven Sund has over 30 years experience as a commercial real estate Developer, Asset Manager and Property Manager of office, R&D and industrial facilities. His expertise has been primarily in the San Francisco Bay Area, concentrated in Silicon Valley and the South Peninsula. He has been instrumental in the development, construction and leasing of over 4,500,000 square feet, most of which was financed by Institutional Partners for long term value creation. Steven has been primarily responsible for developing and managing properties from an Owner’s/Asset Manager’s role and perspective as well as Property Management. He has overseen all aspects of Institutional budgeting and reporting, including audits and valuation analysis. Duties included site selection and acquisition, design, entitlements, financing (construction and permanent), construction oversight, leasing and managing the properties until eventual disposition. Steven represented the Owner in thousands of lease transactions with a portfolio of over 350 tenants for the majority of his career. Product types included multi-tenant Class A&B Office, Office/R&D facilities and industrial/warehouse facilities. Steven’s projects included some of the largest and most visible Class A projects in Silicon Valley and the Bay Area through the 1980’s and 1990’s. The projects received many awards including Development of the year and other accolades during that time frame. Steven is a licensed California Real Estate Broker and hold a Bachelor of Science degree from San Jose State University in Business Administration, Accounting.
