I am a creative writer with a diverse and unique background that provides me with the skills necessary to educate and lead those around me. A 2005 study from the John Hopkins School of Public Health discovered that anywhere from forty to sixty percent of secondary students are chronically disconnected from their educational experience. I believe that the best way to counteract this unfortunate trend is community-based learning that is inclusive, and grounded in respect for every individual involved.
