Adam Smith

My introduction into the software and technology industry started with video games and a curiosity for how they were created. After taking a web development class in high school, I was hooked on learning more about programming, graphic design, and a myriad of subjects under the umbrella of computer science. My pursuits in this industry matched my core skills of analytically driven problem-solving, critical thinking, adaptability, and being a team player. At university, I enjoyed challenges such as creating the foundation of a mobile application and translating a childhood classic game from an outdated programming language to a concurrent one. While I dove into refining programming practices, I still found it important to stay well-rounded. Throughout the entirety of my life, I’ve remained active in music, sports, gaming, pop culture, and creative writing. My recent work history has also emanated this trajectory because I have fit into fast-paced, dynamic, and diverse team settings. Any technical opportunities that require my skills in these industries are heavily welcomed. Life is an accumulation of knowledge and there is an infinite amount of it. I aim to keep learning as much as I possibly can and growing in these areas of interest.
