As an accomplished leader, I have a track record operating across the renewable energy sector covering offshore wind, wave and tidal energy. At Simply Blue Group we develop blue economy projects globally with a focus on floating wind. I have led the early stages of one of the flagship floating wind projects in Scotland and I am now in charge of floating wind project origination in several geographies. At Simply Blue we work in partnership with our partners to enhance the quality and performance of projects. Our company delivers best in class expertise covering technical, commercial and environmental aspects to drive project value. Throughout my career I have undertaken extensive due diligence covering commercial, financial, and technical evaluations of both projects and tecnologies. This has included working on key projects for both fixed and floating offshore wind in Scotland, the UK, Europe and Japan. I have collaborated with global supply chains including working internationally covering route to market, new market entry, and tendering for seabed leasing. I have led on complex research projects for industry leading universities including working in partnership with the European Commission and private sector organisations. Throughout my career I have managed large culturally diverse teams across multiple geographies as well as delivered large scale and complex projects on time, to specification and within budget. I enjoy a challenge and believe my pro-active approach to strategic planning, commercial management, and technical standards and quality have added real value to any activities I am involved on.
