Adriana Scheschowitsch Horbatiuk

I am a Senior Human Resources Executive with a strong education background, more than 20 years of experience in multinational and multicultural environments. During my career I have worked with different HR matters, including challenges as a greenfield plant project, quick business growth, restructuring activities, M&A and several change management processes. Presently, I am leading the global HR team inside Nidec Global Appliance, a division of Nidec Corporation with 14 manufacturing plants across 9 countries and 15,000 employees. I am passionate about human beings within all the complexity of it: family and personal history, fears, expectations and dreams. As organisations are products of human doing, they reflect as well the complexity of people and to deal with it, I strongly believe in the power of dialogue to foster trust, understanding, development, learning, engagement, change, high performance and results. Beyond that, I am an excited student of Executive Master in Change at INSEAD that, currently, lives in Italy, with my husband and 2 daughters, after having an experience in Brazil, where I was born, and in Slovakia for a couple years.
