 DCS Operator at "Egyptian Petrochemicals Company"(EPC)/ Petromaint (APM) In Poly vinyl chloride plant From December 2019 until now. Job responsibilities :- * Safe Start up and shutdown of plant and equipment. * Plant process parameter’s monitoring and control. * Coordinating with field operators and make adjustments to achieve desire parameter in process plant. * Dealing with Reactors, Rotary driers, stripping towers, compressors, pumps. * Knowledge of reading and interpreting P&ID & PFD. * Preparing work permits for supervisory approval. * Making logbook entries describing maintenance needs and unusual operations for use of the next shift. * Monitor recording instruments, flow meters, panel lights, or other indicators and listen for warning signals, to verify conformity of process conditions. * Regulate or shut down equipment during emergencies, as directed by supervisory personnel. *Control or operate chemical processes or systems of machines. * Move control settings to make necessary adjustments on equipment units affecting speeds of chemical reactions, quality, or yields. * Ensuring that all stand-by equipment’s are in healthy condition. * Writing SWP’s and SOP’s and Train and learn together juniors. * Execute the Turnaround activities and Job packages individually. * Experience in commissioning of Pump, Exchangers and Coolers. * Involved in pre-Commissioning activities of making flushing procedure and purging procedure. * Monitoring the smooth and safe operation of rotating equipment like pumps, compressors and Heat exchangers etc. * Responsible for smooth and safe operation of plant and ensuring strict compliance of safety procedures and standard operating procedure. * Maintaining desired operating conditions to get optimum yield of production and co-ordination and co-operation with allied units. * Maintaining the record for the future/past shutdown jobs. * To systematically perform trouble-shooting and initiate remedial action. * Participated in annual turn around with issuing of Permit, LOTO, Safe shutdown by Following SOP’s, safe hand over of equipment’s, Manpower management. * To generate reports on daily production and chemical consumption. * Preparation of Additives for PVC production unit. * Monitoring of Additive chemical stock.
