Aimee Soule

I work as an Environmental Health Specialist in Food Safety in Spokane, Washington. I graduated in June 2022 with my Master's in Public Health from Eastern Washington University. I'm a team player who also enjoys solo projects. I'm attentive to detail and thrive in a fast-paced work environment. I'm eager to learn new skills, think outside the box, and strengthen my leadership skills. I served as President-elect of the Master of Public Health Association (MPHA) at EWU. I forged new relationships with peers and had ample networking opportunities. Recognizing my contributions to the MPHA and my student leadership skills, I was a 2021 finalist for Student of the Year at EWU. My participation in the MPHA paved the way for my acceptance into the student leadership program (EagLead), which I completed during the Winter Quarter of 2022. I led a small team through a successful audit as a QA manager for a small start-up laboratory. Preparing for the audit taught me how to prioritize and when to delegate tasks while working against a deadline. Project management is a role I've fallen into naturally, thanks to my attention to detail and memory for dates. Other interests include health communications, leadership and facilitation, process improvement, program development, and policy.
