Alan DiGilio

Alan DiGilio is a Client Partner at Verizon Enterprise Solutions. He is responsible for driving new business in enterprise security, cloud and mobility, as well as advanced networking solutions. He is an individual contributor having closed US Navy and USMC business totaling $ 16 M new bookings and managing customers driving $50+ M of revenue. He has been successful in positioning the full portfolio of Verizon solutions and professional services offerings, leveraging system integrator partners and small businesses. His responsibilities encompass the entire sales life cycle, from targeting opportunities at the program level, initiating strategic account relationships, leading capture and proposal management, and delivering on forecast business. Between 2009 - 2012 Alan was a Commercial Office Space Broker. He negotiated the terms and conditions of numerous complex office space leases. Prior to that role, he was with EMC and UNISYS in data center hardware, software and professional service sales. After his Naval Officer career, Alan had a 7 year tenure at Nextel, first as a wireless voice and data Solution Engineer supporting Fortune 50 accounts, and next as a Direct Sales Government Account Manager covering USN and USMC, the Intel Community and other DoD customers, which resulted in tremendous success. He was a President's Council trip winner 5 years running and received a DoD award for his dedicated service related to the Sept 11, 2001 attacks. Alan worked at MCI International as a Network Engineer during college. Upon graduation he decided to serve his country as a Naval Flight Officer. He tracked virtually every class of Russian submarine during his tours. He also served as a Flight Deck Officer on the USS Enterprise, launching and recovering jets. He was on active duty from 1985 until 1997. Alan has a Bachelor of Engineering (EE) from Manhattan College, and a Master of Business Administration from the College of William and Mary.
