Alan Hendrickson

Alan Hendrickson is a 30 year Austin resident and a 19 year veteran of Silicon Laboratories, serving there as vice president of engineering since 2016, responsible for the development of integrated circuits for the Internet-of-Things. He received his BSEE at Texas A&M University in 1987, briefly worked in the military telecommunications industry in Dallas and then joined AMD in Austin in 1989, designing telecommunications chips, until joining the start-up Silicon Labs in 1999. There he has been a proud contributor to successful semiconductor products for wireline telephony, modems, television receivers, and most recently, for the wide array of wireless gizmos and gadgets that make up today’s and tomorrow’s connected home and workplace.
