Developed and led the operation of P2P and Travel & Expenses (T&E) in the Pfizer Shared Services Center for Latin and North America (Pfizer GFS LATAM) since 2013. Managed teams of up to 70 employees in Pfizer GFS LATAM, responsible for the processing of more than 80,000 monthly bills and the payment to suppliers for more than US $ 1.5 billion per month. Implemented and led the Global Centers of Excellence (COE) for the Assignment of Authorization Levels and T&E Oversight of Pfizer as of 2017. Supervised the implementation and execution of more than 100 SOX P2P and T&E controls between 2013 and 2017. Obtained the "Strategic Award" granted by Pfizer Central America and the Caribbean (Pfizer CAC) in 2012 due to high performance and support to business objectives. Implemented the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) policy in Pfizer CAC in 2010. Created and stabilized the financial-accounting operations of Payless ShoeSource in Central America, Ecuador and Trinidad & Tobago in 2004. Generated more than US$1 million in reduction of annual operating costs in Payless ShoeSource (PSS) as a result of the implementation of changes and improvements in operational and financial processes at a regional level. Led the recovery processes of more than US$3 million of overpaid duties in Guatemala and fiscal fines imposed in the Dominican Republic and Ecuador to PSS between 2005 and 2007. Obtained the "Pinnacle Award" from Payless ShoeSource awarded due to contributions in the financial area in 2005. As financial consultant of KPMG, led several financial advisory projects related to Corporate Finance and Transactional Services such as Mergers & Adquisitions (M&A), Valuations and Due Diligence in Central America. Throughout my professional career I have led multiple external and internal audits either as an external auditor of KPMG or as a Compliance Manager in either Payless ShoeSource or Pfizer.
