Alex Asen

Alex is a Lead Knowledge Analyst and the Cybersecurity Practice's Global Knowledge Team Lead at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG). As a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) he provides security analysis and guidance to a large number of BCG's clients and case teams, while also helping to direct and manage BCG's cybersecurity business. Alex further supervises cybersecurity research, leads cyber knowledge capture and management, and contributes to new product development. Alex has assisted clients in every major industry improve their security posture, with special focus on security organization health checks and benchmarking. He also frequently works with security vendors on product and sales strategy. Prior to BCG, Alex founded and launched several technology start-ups and enjoyed eight years of IT consulting experience. He holds a J.D. from Columbia Law School (New York, NY) and a B.A. from Brandeis University (Waltham, MA).
