Alex Duchscher

I have been practicing yoga since 1999, and teaching yoga since 2002, with my initial 200hr teacher training certificate from Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health. Since then I have incorporated more Vinyasa flow as well. Having attained 35 hours of prenatal yoga training, I have been teaching prenatal yoga since July 2012. I have been practicing massage since obtaining my massage certification from Boulder College of Massage Therapy in December of 2005. I traveled to Thailand in 2006, and in Thai massage I found a happy marriage of my two loves, yoga and massage. Prior to this I used my business management degree in the management of two upscale restaurants in Manhattan, where I interacted with our customers, helping them to feel welcome, managed and trained staff and contributed to the running of the back office for the owners. I lived, taught yoga and practiced massage in Vail, Colorado for the better part of 10 years and have recently relocated to the Northern VA/D.C. Metro area. I am eagerly searching for new opportunities into which to transition my dynamic experience and knowlege.
