Systems Architect at DXC Technology focused on major Systems Integration across multiple platforms. For the last 10 Years, I have been involved with several major projects in the Health Care Payor Market. Highlights of a few: Modernization of a big Mainframe System written in a 4GL to Java. This was the first large successful modernization using the visionary tools of BluAge Corporation. During that time, I oversaw a team of over 100 developers spread across multiple countries and spent considerable time in India assisting with the modernization effort. Migration of another Mainframe System written in 4 GL to pure COBOL. In order to preserve the large amount of touch-points both internal and external and not disrupt the continuous maintenance of the application, client opted not to go to a newer technology. Extraction of over 20 Years of complex Health Care Claims data from Legacy format to ASCII using ETL to load the data to AWS. Evaluation of multiple options for mining large amounts of data into the AWS Cloud post storage to S3 and archival to AWS Glacier using tools such as AWS Athena and others.
