Investment professional with over 25 years experience and a deep knowledge of the Asset Management industry from both an investing and distribution perspective. I have held a number of senior sales and investment roles.I have presented at senior levels, including CEO/ CIO, in some of the worlds largest institutional (SWF, Pension, Insurance) and Wholesale (Private Banks/ Multi Managers) clients, as well as interacting with the many of the large investment consultants. I have had broad geographical coverage including UK, Europe, US, Australia and the Middle East. I am currently based in Asia.My experience has given me a very strong knowledge of quantitative and fundamentally based strategies from my time at BGI, Morgan Stanley and HSBC as well as an invaluable insight into the investment teams that run these. I’m currently running our active equity platform alongside our global, and regional CIOs.Written and media work: I appear regularly talking on Asia and China markets on CNBC and Bloomberg. I have written numerous papers and articles at each firm I have worked. I am a regular participant at industry conferences and seminars including Pension and Investments and various Institutional events globally. I’ve spoken on topics including equity markets, smart beta and factor investing, absolute return and gender fund strategies, currency investing and alternatives.I have been interviewed by industry press in the U.K, Singapore, Europe and the US. I have been published on topics covering smart beta and factor investing and Environmental , Social and Governance within investment portfolios.
