Alexandra Villafañe Martínez

I am a hard-working and motivated person that has had fun with the different expressions of the languages. I have a Master's degree in Linguistics with an emphasis on Bilingualism and I majored in English Philology and Languages. My MA has given me a wider perspective on the interaction of languages, education and society. I’ve been a professor at Universidad Nacional de Colombia andworked with students of varied backgrounds, majors and ages, as well as with non-traditional methodologies. I've translated a great variety of content, both in written and video formats. I’ve also worked transcribing, time-coding and subtitling audiovisual projects. I am an enthusiast of teamwork and collaborative learning, both regarding my students and myself. Also, I believe well-studied and structured challenges make people thrive.
