Alexei Silverman

Alexei opened a new boutique DC law firm with Peter Martino in July 2019, Honos Law PLLC, where they provide creative and cost-effective legal services to businesses and individuals. Alexei practices civil litigation, with specialities in commercial litigation, family law, and employment law. He also regularly practices in real estate law, including commercial leasing and purchase and sales agreements. He is licensed to practice in Maryland and D.C. Alexei M. Silverman graduated Harvard Law School in 1996, Cum Laude. After a judicial clerkship for Judge Suzanne B. Conlon on the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Illinois, Alexei moved to the Washington, D.C. area. For over a decade, he practiced complex civil litigation at Am Law 100 law firms, where he specialized in defending mass tort and toxic tort claims pending in state and federal courts nationwide, as well as the related insurance coverage actions. At his primary former D.C. firm, Alexei also headed the litigation training program for junior to mid-level associates. Alexei is admitted and routinely practices in a variety of state and federal courts in his licensed jurisdictions, including DC Superior Court, the Circuit Court for Montgomery County, the United States District Courts for Maryland (Greenbelt and Baltimore), D.C. Superior Court, and the United States District Court for the District of Columbia. He also practices on a national level, most recently in Chicago, Illinois and Dallas, Texas.Alexei obtained his B.A. from Rice University (Class of 1992), where he graduated with honors.
