Alexis Lewis

Alexis Lewis currently attends Shenandoah University, earning her Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT). She graduated in 2019 with a Bachelor's of Science - Exercise Science. She has been interested in physical therapy ever since she had to be rehabilitated from a sports injury. From that time on, she wanted to be able to help people return to the activities they love by becoming a Physical Therapist, just like her therapist was able to help her return to sports. She wants to specialize in pediatric physical therapy and hopes to one day open her own office that will be specific to working with children. She has always had a passion for teaching and helping kids and wants to be able to work with children with disabilities in order to provide them a more fulfilling life. Currently, Alexis is working as a Physical Therapy Aide at Berryville Physical Therapy and Wellness. Prior to this position, she was a Personal Trainer at Shenandoah University as well as a math and science tutor.
