Alison Galbo

My career is my passion. Providing services to our senior population brings me joy, which fuels my creativity, my eagerness to learn, my patience and attentiveness, and my ability to create deep and meaningful relationships with the families that I meet. I seek to reveal from residents what excites and interests them and use that information to generate programming that will enhance and improve their quality of life and bring joy to them and their families. I have a special interest in working with seniors with Alzheimer's and Dementia. Adapting and creating activities based on the uniqueness of each individual is a skill that I use on a daily basis. I believe in the person-centered habilitative approach, and that utilizing this approach gives the individual the greatest level of success and enjoyment.
