Alison Hitt

I am currently a senior nursing student at James Madison University graduating in May 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and minor in Chronic Illness. As a personable, hard-working, and enthusiastic person, I am passionate about providing the highest level of care to my patients and their families, because that is what I would want if the roles were reversed. I find great joy in helping people, which is why I chose nursing as a career. I have accepted a job in the Surgical Trauma ICU at VCU Medical Center in Richmond, VA, and I am very excited to be starting my nursing career this coming summer! I am looking forward to advancing my nursing knowledge once settling into the critical care scene by obtaining critical care specific certifications including ACLS and CCRN.
