Alistair Blackburn

Alistair is responsible for the finance, HR and administrative functions at RealMatters Alistair has broad financial services experience gained during the past 20 years in consumer finance, retail banking, investment banking, insurance and professional services across Europe and North America. Alistair most recently worked for HSBC where he headed their non-prime broker mortgage group in Canada. Prior to that he established and managed HSBC's consumer finance businesses in Central Europe, specifically Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland. Alistair started business life at Arthur Andersen before becoming Head of Group Finance at Egg Bank, the world's largest pure internet bank. Alistair holds an M.A. from Worcester College, Oxford University, an MBA from Manchester Business School and is a qualified Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). In his spare time Alistair enjoys spending time at home with his wife and two children as well as playing and watching as much sport as possible.
