* Responsible for the daily, weekly and monthly cleanliness of the facility * Responsible for checking and changing cages daily to maintain proper housing for animals USDA or other species. *Responsible for the reviewing and editing of weekly, daily and monthly reports prepared by subordinates for completeness and accuracy also updating and maintaining animal records. *Responsible for all Ingoing and outgoing animal shipment and or animal husbandry items (bedding, food and enrichment) * Responsible for shipping out automated genotype goods services for labs * In charge of all technical services for specific labs and studies (i.e. Intramuscular IM, subcutaneous SC, oral gavage, intraperitoneal IP, Intravenous IV, Intradermal ID, Brain harvesting, Topical treatments ) *Responsible for the daily supervision of in housed animals that needed to be monitored. *Assisted in training of department staff and developing and implementing standard operating procedure manual for department.
