Dear Network I'm a pharmaceutical scientist who wants to contribute to the successful development of new medicines to help improving people's health. I have chosen to build my profile to get a global overview of the pharmaceutical industry. Starting my studies with chemical & process engineering, I gained a strong technical know-how about the place of science in our daily lives. To further build my knowledge on the healthcare system and pharmaceutical industry, I decided to further push my curiosity about the "WHY", by becoming a pharmacist (PharmD). This enabled me to discover the whole medicine chain, from the early steps (Research) to the final most important users (patients), including partners (HCP, hospitals, healthcare systems) and competitors on the market. Now, after 8 years of professional experiences in the pharmaceutical world (Novartis for the pharma industrial sector, a cancer research hospital, a quality validation service provider), I believe that I fit with the scope of pharmaceutical development because I additionally learnt about: ◆ the overall drug development process (work with milestones & cross-functional teams) ◆ the high standards in Pharma (achieve quality, respect internal & external regulations) ★ what it means for patients (reach success for and including patients) All this led to the coworker I am, with: ✔ a purpose-driven and resilient mindset ✔ a productive/ organized working style ✔ a problem-solving attitude in both anticipation and troubleshooting modes ✔ a good team playing spirit, in matrix organizations My interests are about excipients, oncology drug development, patient centricity (paediatrics) and global health.
